Solid Protective Covers Provide a Reliable Dielectric Barrier
Unlike perforated or gridded covers, Greenjacket covers present a solid protective surface. When covers are properly installed, investigative animals cannot probe into them with claws or beaks.
- No risk of clogging with debris
- Eliminates the flashover risk associated with perforated/gridded covers
- Provides a solid dielectric and physical barrier against animal contact
Effective 3-Dimensional Coverage
Greenjacket wildlife protectors are available in over 400 stock models. In cases where a stock cover will not provide a gap-free fit, custom-made covers are easily and cost-effectively produced. All covers are sized and installed to create a close three-dimensional fit that prevents animal contact.

| Polyurethane Covers Are Easy to Field Fit |
Greenjacket covers are easily field cut / trimmed and drilled. Full rated dielectric strength is achieved at a cover thickness that allows even large Greenjacket covers to be easily field cut and fitted.
If exact measurements are known, covers can be pre-trimmed before shipment to reduce installation time.
Easy to Install and Remove
Some Greenjacket covers, such as structure covers, can be tie-wrapped or glued into place at the Utility's discretion.

| Greenjacket Fasteners |
Most Greenjacket covers are installed using simple push-style fasteners that need no special tools. Fastener holes are pre-drilled for quick, easy installation. Additional holes can be quickly field-drilled if desired. Fasteners are easily cut off for maintenance.
Greenjacket covers are easily removed for maintenance and are fully re-usable.
Effective Protection for Raptors (Birds of Prey) and Other Migratory Birds
Greenjacket is a valuable component of any raptor and migratory bird protection program. When used on electrical distribution poles and power substation equipment, Greenjacket covers help to prevent raptor and migratory bird electrocutions.
